Detox and Release to Build Personal Resilience

We are in the final days of summer (can you believe it?) and I hope we can all embrace some of the lingering ripeness of the season before we step into my favorite time of year, fall!

While I am NOT a fan of everything pumpkin spice, I do love autumn's energetic invitation to take a peek at our lives and discern where we need to detox, release, and let go.

For today:

  • Could you take 5-10 minutes to pause and take a look at the state of your life?
  • What feels right? What feels just kinda so-so? What feels like a ton of bricks weighing you down?

Assessing where we are right now and connecting with the "toxicity" of our lives is the first step in creating space for all that we wish to invite in. {For a deeper dive into your "right now", revisit a message I sent earlier this month.}

Once we know where we are, we can begin to clean house. As we let go--of habits that no longer serve, of schedules that drain and strain us, of relationships that empty rather than fill our cups, of furniture that no longer fits in our rooms, of anything at all that feels heavy and burdensome--we have space to build personal resilience.

Resilience is the ability to be "flex-able" during challenging phases of life. Building resilience requires a few key components, one of which is self-awareness (see the prompts at the start of this message). Then, we need to release what's preventing us from fully embracing OUR wellbeing, create some boundaries, and take doable action steps.

If you're ready to rediscover or recover a sense of personal resilience, I'd love to see you inside my upcoming small group coaching program, "Building Resilience in Uncertain Times" which launches on September 27.

This 6-week program will offer you tons of support via weekly coaching assignments (delivered to your inbox) AND 90-minute group calls on Zoom to discuss, share, and receive coaching.

I'm intentionally keeping the group small to maximize the support you receive so registration is limited to 12 participants. Please sign up by Friday, September 24.

I know that investing in ourselves is scary. Even considering a new way of living, let alone doing it, upsets our brains.

But, what feels worse: muddling through the way you've always done, dragging your limiting beliefs and frustrations in a heavy sack, missing out on living fully because you feel exhausted all the time? Or charting a new course toward lightness and ideal-for-you wellness?

Your decide.

Sending strength,

Jennifer (she/her)
