Yoga Is So Much More than "Fancy Poses"


The Sanskrit word "yoga" means to yoke or unite. Modern lifestyle emphases on doing give us many opportunities to lose touch with our inherent being.

Yogic breathwork, intentional movement, and mindfulness reconnect us to our essence. The physical shapes characteristic of some genres of yoga help us wash away tension, build strength, and journey toward an energetic state that is open to rest and receptivity.

Anchored in gentler practices, anatomical know-how, and therapeutic exercises that support activities of daily living, my teaching helps you embody the true intention of yoga, no "fancy poses" required.
