Sacred Pause: Yoga and Rest For the Turning Season

$150 (all registrations are non-refundable)

Join us for a one-day yoga retreat designed to prepare body, mind, and spirit for the introspective stillness of late autumn and early winter. While leaves flutter to the earth and the soil finds rest, we too are invited to soften our pace, turn inward, and embrace nature’s quiet wisdom. Let this sacred pause prepare you for the growth to come.

This event will be held at Blueberry Gardens in Ashton, MD, a 10-minute drive from Olney.

At this retreat, we will:

Slow Down & Restore
Embrace rest through gentle movement, breath-centered practices, Restorative Yoga, and guided meditation to cultivate inner stillness and deep relaxation.

Nourish Body & Soul
Savor warm, grounding snacks, herbal teas, and mindful movement that soothes and replenishes.

Reflect & Set Intentions
Turn inward with journaling, seasonal intention setting, and self-exploration practices that honor your inner landscape and prepare you for the cycle ahead.

Attune With Nature & Community
Deepen your connection to nature through quiet reflection while sharing space and companionship with a like-minded community.

Your Facilitators:

Beth Pruski and Jen Brennan first met as moms of grade-school, soccer playing sons and later bonded as yoga teachers and friends. Beth and Jen combine deep respect for the teachings of yoga with their heart-centered capacity to hold space for groups of people. Both are passionate about the outdoors, appreciate how seasonal changes mirror human cycles of life, and prioritize creating inclusive healing spaces.

Beth deeply values the sense of connection and community that yoga fosters and is passionate about creating a supportive space where everyone feels welcome. Her teaching emphasizes mindfulness, compassion, and the shared experience of growth through movement and breath. Beth enjoys working with students of all levels and backgrounds, helping them integrate yoga into their overall wellness goals.

Jen is a blend of soft shell, solid ground, and spontaneous fire. Her life is a dance between bold expression and divine stillness—city buzz meets nature’s calm, juicy movement meets peaceful pause. Unapologetically authentic, Jen’s work as a bodyworker and yoga teacher allows her to blend anatomy know-how with creative, sensual experiencing practices that reconnect clients and students with their bodies.
