Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support of me and my work during the last year. Whether you are new to my tribe or a long timer, I am grateful that you are in my circle.

Sometimes it's really tough to be self-employed; it's especially a challenge during a pandemic. But I am doing it and on the days I feel stuck or unseen or just plum tired of drumming up business, what pulls me through is the truth that I am surrounded by colleagues and clientele who love and trust me.

As we step into the holiday season, don't forget to count your blessings. Notice the big and the small things you appreciate. Receive thanks from other people with love.

Gratitude isn’t just an act of kindness; it can positively impact our mood! Practicing gratitude releases the feel-good neurotransmitters dopamine and serotonin in the brain. What could be better than a free dose of happiness?

If you need a tangible reminder of all that you're thankful for, write one gratitude a day on a slip of paper and place it inside a glass jar. Watch the jar fill over the coming weeks.

Aside from my children, family, and my cat Boo, I am grateful for too many things to list here. Still, I'll get our collective gratitude pot filling with a few things I appreciate.

In the words of the late William Arthur Ward, "Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings."

For what are you thankful?

With gratitude,

Jennifer (she/her)
